Review: Myojo Ippei-Chan Yakisoba with Garlic Mayonnaise

I’ve been wanting to try this variety ever since I first reviewed Myojo Ippei-Chan Yakisoba with Mustard Mayonnaise a while back. That one still holds firm as my favorite yakisoba product to date, and Myojo is a pretty solid brand as long as we ignore their occasional major atrocity. However, I am a garlic fanatic, and this product promises a lot of garlic flavor. Could this unseat Myojo’s Mustard Mayonnaise flavor from the top spot? Let’s find out!

Review: Nissin Cup Noodle BIG Hot and Sour Soup

You may have noticed the last handful of reviews were photographed in a kind of black void. That’s because I’m using a photography box to document some of my reviews when I’m not home. And not being home means that the easiest thing to review is Cup Noodles (and other noodles that come in a cup, of course). This Cup Noodle take on hot & sour soup is a limited time offering from Nissin that comes back around every so often due to its popularity. I snagged one a couple months ago, so here is a proper review for your reading pleasure!

Review: TableMark Touhoku no Aji Yonezawa Ramen

Here’s another Japanese variety I got out of the very final ZenPop ramen subscription box. This is a brand from Japan that I’ve never tried before, and it doesn’t look like many of their products make it to the USA compared to other brands like Nissin, Maruchan, and Myojo. Neat! I’m always excited to try something new.

Review: Nissin Cup Noodles Artificial Beef Flavor (Hong Kong)

It’s been a while since I took a look at one of these Cup Noodles flavors from Hong Kong. I’m very curious to see how this one goes. If you want to know how this HK beef flavor differs from the American Cup Noodles, read on!

Review: A-Sha BT21 Galaxy Variety Noodle Box

Today I’m going to continue through my backlog of A-Sha noodles by reviewing and walking you the contents of this BT21 Galaxy Variety Noodle Box. I wasn’t thrilled with the Street Style Variety box for multiple reasons, but this one might go a little better because there are some really interesting noodles in this box.

Review: Samyang Original Ramen (South Korean Import)

Way, way, way back in episode 9 on the channel, I reviewed a classic from Samyang: their plain old original flavor ramen in the orange packaging. And it was really good. At the time, I made a note to myself that I would like to try the South Korean version someday to see how it compares to the export version, so lo and behold that day is now! This product dates all the way back to 1963 and seems to be pretty much a staple in South Korea.

Review: Twisted Noodles Chicken Ramen – Cup & Pack Versions

I already filmed a video review of the Twisted Noodles Shrimp Cup and Pack, and quite frankly, I thought both iterations were among the worst noodles I’ve ever had. So since I still had the Chicken flavors sitting around, in the interest of being thorough, I decided to review them in this form. In other words, I’m not wasting my precious time filming and editing another video about Twisted Noodles when I could be filming and editing something I actually care about instead. So this written review will have to do. Buckle up!

Review: Nissin Cup Noodle Three Cheese Chicken Paitan

One of the things I love about ordering noodles from Japan is seeing what limited-edition flavors Nissin comes out with every couple of months. This Cup Noodle Three Cheese Chicken Paitan caught my eye one of the last times I ordered from Japanese-snacks-republic.com, and I knew I had to have it. Since this is a limited-edition flavor, read on to see if I think this is something you should order ASAP.

Review: Nongshim Gamjatangmyun

This is an interesting-sounding product that Nongshim stealthily discontinued selling in the USA recently during their big website/product line refresh. That’s a shame, because at least on paper, this isn’t something I’ve really seen from any other Korean noodle manufacturers. I just so happen to still have one of these I picked up a while back, so this review is here in case Nongshim ever brings this flavor back to the US or if any of you would like to buy it from South Korea. I believe this may also still be available in other markets under the name “Kamjatangmyun.”

Review: Acecook Sapporo Rich Miso Ramen

Here’s a Japanese variety I got out of the very final ZenPop ramen subscription box that I haven’t tried yet. The official product name according to ZenPop is “Nomihosu Ippai Gotouchi-hen Sapporo Noukou Miso Ramen,” although you can find this online under the name “Sapporo Rich Miso Ramen.”
